Programs
Upholstery
Upholstery classes are offered by Knox County Schools at Lincoln Park Technology and Trade Center on Monday night from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Students must be 18 yrs. of age. Tuition is $140 each 14 wks of instruction. Classes begin the first Thursday after Labor Day and end the last week of May. Classes in Adult Home Economics are found on the Adult Home Economics schedule that is published each time and may vary by the time of the year.
The Adult Home Economics Center is a part of the Knox County Schools' commitment to life-long learning by providing programs for the adult learner to develop new employable skills, update present skills, stimulate creativity and become a more knowledgeable consumer of goods and services. Courses offered include floral design, cake decorating, cooking, crafts, custom sewing, drapery making, quilting, painting, and drawing. This program has been a vital service to the community for 39 years. As adult educators, we are presented an exciting challenge and reward in meeting the continuing education needs of our "special students."

The Adult Home Economics Center is Located in the Lincoln Park Technology Center at 535 Chickamauga Avenue. Turn left off Broadway onto Chickamauga.
From I-275, to Central Avenue exit 2A. Go to the stop light at Central and turn left. Go to the second street on the right and turn right onto Chickamauga Avenue. Lincoln Park will abe 1.3 miles on left.
